How to read the code.
- First digit × 2
- Fan width in inches at about 30 cm from the surface.
- Last two digits
- Orifice in thousandths of an inch. The hole sets how much paint comes out.
Same last two digits, same hole and the same paint out. A bigger first digit spreads it over a wider fan, so each pass lays a thinner coat.

Genuine Graco RAC 5 SwitchTips for painters who run the RAC 5 guard. Pick your size below. The size code tells you the spray pattern: the last two digits are the orifice in thousandths of an inch, and the first digit, doubled, gives the fan width in inches at 12 in from the surface. So 515 is a 10 in fan with a .015 orifice.
Fits guard: RAC 5 tip guard 243161 (7/8 in thread). RAC 5 tips don't fit a RAC X guard, so check which guard is on your gun before you order. If your gun has a RAC X guard, you want the RAC X LTX SwitchTip instead.
Fits: any airless sprayer running a RAC 5 guard, whose max tip is the same size as the tip's orifice or bigger.

What does 207 mean?
The first digit is the fan, the last two are the orifice. This tip sprays a 4 in fan through a 0.007 in orifice.
