Treat it as a serious injury, even if it looks like a small cut. We've had customers inject paint by accident, and they could have been seriously injured if they hadn't taken it seriously. Graco's manuals put it plainly: "High-pressure fluid from gun, hose leaks, or ruptured components will pierce skin. This may look like just a cut, but it is a serious injury that can result in amputation. Get immediate surgical treatment." (Graco manual 3A6285M, page 3)
Go straight to a hospital emergency department. Tell them it is a high pressure injection injury, and take the paint's SDS (safety data sheet) with you so they know what went in.
To stop it happening, Graco says: "Engage trigger lock when not spraying." "Do not point gun at anyone or at any part of the body." "Do not stop or deflect leaks with your hand, body, glove, or rag." "Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure when you stop spraying and before cleaning, checking, or servicing equipment." More in our troubleshooting guide.
We're online only, and we run lean on purpose. There's no call centre or shop counter to pay for, so that money goes into sharper prices for painters. Email us and someone who knows airless writes back within one business day, in writing, with part numbers and links you can keep.
Yes. Everything is genuine Graco Australian stock, covered by Graco's 12 month warranty. The product page shows the warranty for that model.
Open your sprayer's page, scroll to the parts diagram, tap the area, then the numbered part. Not sure? Email a photo of the part and the data plate.
We're a tech-first business, so stock isn't a guess. Every morning the site checks our Queensland (Deception Bay) and Victorian (Derrimut) warehouses and shows what's on the shelf at each, and we keep both stocked first and foremost for airless paint equipment and Graco. If a line is on order, the product page says so and shows when it's expected, so you never have to ring around to find out.
